PHILOSOPHY
SERVICES
PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT

Manual therapy is a technique where a physiotherapist uses their hands to manipulate, mobilise and massage the body tissues and prescribe exercises. This can help relieve pain and stiffness improve blood circulation help fluid drain more efficiently from parts of the body to improve the movement of different parts of the body and promote relaxation.

ACUPUNCTURE & COSMETIC ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture and Dry Needling: Hundreds of clinical studies on the benefits of acupuncture show that it successfully treats conditions ranging from musculoskeletal problems (back pain, neck pain)to nausea, thyroid, migraine/ headache, anxiety, depression, insomnia and infertility.

A cosmetic acupuncture treatment will concentrate on points and muscles of the face in order to improve elasticity of your skin and general overall appearance. During the treatment, your Facial Enhancement Acupuncture practitioner will also needle constitutional points on your legs, arms and body, these are the points that will help to balance and harmonise your inner

elements.

Studies published in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture in 1996 showed that: “…of 300 people who received Facial Acupuncture, 90% demonstrated marked results after only their first treatment.”

THERAPEUTIC/ SPORTS MASSAGE

While more research is needed to confirm the benefits of massage, some studies have found sports massage may also be helpful for: Anxiety, Digestive disorders, Fibromyalgia, Headaches, Insomnia related to stress, Myofascial pain syndrome, Chronic fatigue syndrome, Soft tissue strains or injuries, Sports injuries & relaxation.
